still in Very Good or better condition. Superb silver raised figure of a woman leaping on the front cover. Very art deco in
design. Illustrated with photographs. One full page photograph of The Women's League's first march into Hyde Park,
June 1930. Another of "Prunella's Production in the Albert Hall." On page Thirty-Eight near the rear of the
book it states, "(Mrs. Bagot Stack was taken seriously ill shortly after this last chapter was written, and she died
without completing "The Romance." In Issue No. Eleven of "Mother and Daughter," Prunella, her daughter,
wrote a message to League Members, which made it clear that during the whole time when the League was being built (as recounted
in the foregoing chapters), its Founder was under a terrific mental strain. Prunella's Message is printed overleaf.) The
message to the League Members is then printed on Page Thirty-Nine. Other than the staples being rusty this incredibly rare
piece of history from the Women's Movement is still in fabulous condition. Pages are lovely and clean. No creasing, a
